Dogevera Research organizes published canine health studies into focused evidence projects. We examine study design, populations, interventions, dosing, outcomes, limitations, funding and other details that are often difficult to compare across individual papers.

These resources are designed to make published evidence easier to inspect — not to replace veterinary advice or peer-reviewed research.

    Working title

    Canine Green-Lipped Mussel Trials: Formulation, Dose, Duration and Washout

    A study-level dataset of published canine green-lipped mussel trials, recording formulation, dose as reported and normalised to body weight (with calculations shown), treatment duration, pre-enrolment and between-period washout, comparators, funding, and cohort overlap between publications. Version 0.1 covers 20 study records from 17 publications (search last run 8 October 2026), including trials not indexed in Europe PMC. Before publication, we are asking study authors to check how their trials are recorded.

How Dogevera Research works

  1. Focused questions

    We start with narrow questions that can be answered by examining published evidence, rather than trying to summarize an entire field at once.

  2. Study-level extraction

    Where relevant, we extract details such as population, sample size, intervention, dose, duration, comparator, outcome measures, funding and limitations.

  3. Transparent limitations

    We distinguish direct canine evidence from evidence in humans, other species or laboratory models, and clearly identify uncertainty where the evidence is limited.

Dogevera is a commercial canine wellness company and sells green-lipped mussel products, the subject of Research Project 001. Dogevera Research is an evidence-organization initiative maintained by Dogevera. It reports what studies show whichever way it points.
