A structured review of published canine trials examining green-lipped mussel, with study-level data on formulation, dose, duration, trial design, outcomes and methodological limitations.
We start with narrow questions that can be answered by examining published evidence, rather than trying to summarize an entire field at once.
Where relevant, we extract details such as population, sample size, intervention, dose, duration, comparator, outcome measures, funding and limitations.
We distinguish direct canine evidence from evidence in humans, other species or laboratory models, and clearly identify uncertainty where the evidence is limited.
