HMB en perros: estudios caninos y afirmaciones comerciales
Dos conjuntos de datos vinculados, procedentes de un mapa de evidencia prerregistrado. El primero recoge los 11 registros de 9 publicaciones o patentes en los que se administró HMB (β-hidroxi-β-metilbutirato) por vía oral a perros, con la población, el diseño, la dosis, la duración, los resultados y la financiación. El segundo recoge literalmente 32 afirmaciones sobre el HMB en perros procedentes de 19 páginas comerciales, con la fuente que cita cada una, si esa fuente existe y si su población coincide con los perros a los que se refiere la afirmación.
Para investigadores, veterinarios y lectores que examinan la evidencia publicada. Estos conjuntos no combinan resultados de eficacia ni evalúan la eficacia de productos; el conjunto de HMB también contrasta afirmaciones comerciales con las fuentes citadas.
